What Happens to Skin When it Ages?

There is much talk these days about anti-aging skincare products and about protecting your skin from the damage it suffers as we age. Every time you turn on the television you may notice commercial after commercial for creams and topical treatments that supposedly erase lines and wrinkles and return skin to it’s youthful appearance. But what exactly are these products supposedly protecting us from, and why does the skin start to look so unhealthy as we get older? (Here’s where you can find more detailed information on skin care and stretch mark removal cream.)

It’s important to understand these things because if you think about it, many of the telltale signs of aging are actually problems with the skin itself. We may get gray hair and start showing some rolls around the midsection, but usually it’s the lines and wrinkles in the face, the sagging skin on the hands and arms, and things like liver spots that make a person look truly old. So if you want to look younger overall of course you should be concerned with what happens to the skin as we age and how to avoid this.

The skin contains two elements, collagen and elastin, that keep it healthy and young looking. Collagen is like a fat that is under the skin that keeps it plumped up and moist. It holds hydration that the skin continuously feeds off of. When we age this collagen production begins to break down which is why many older persons have skin that sags at least a little bit, whether it’s on their hands, arms, around their neck, or in other areas.

Elastin gives the skin the ability to bounce back into shape every time it’s stretched or wrinkled. When you move any part of your body, including when you make facial gestures or walk or sit down, the skin needs to stretch and fold around your muscles for you to be able to move. Elastin helps it to contract back into shape after doing that, otherwise our skin would then just hang off our bones. But as we age this elastin also breaks down and wears out so that the skin doesn’t bounce back; this means that when we crinkle up our eyes or smile then those little inroads in the face are likely to stay that way. (Here’s where you can find more detailed information on skin care and skin lightening cream.)

It’s not always possible to replace collagen and elastin as it breaks down and stops being produced but usually hydration is a good substitute. The more hydrated the skin is the more pliable it is and more able to snap back into place when stretched or wrinkled up. While you can’t always prevent the effects and signs of aging you can help yourself by making sure you drink plenty of water and keep yourself hydrated all day.

chlorine dioxide is a wonder substance

Hypochlorus acid is very important. So much so that the deficiency of this chemical is actually a disease and causes people to come down with other autoimmune problems later on. When you get sick or your body is fighting something off the demands for hypochlorous rise dramatically and so using MMS at that time would do just as well. Now if you happen to not need any of these amazing health affects them the compound just passes through benignly and does not affect you at all. The biggest advantage is that this chemical does all of this amazing work in only a few hours. It leaves only a small amount of carbon dioxide and water behind. No other medical interventions can claim to have such a powerful anti-pathogenic effect as the mms treatment, whilst maintaining such a benign presence. MMS is a revolution in medicine indeed!

Jim Humble’smms treatment is the new wonder therapy

There is a powerful electrostatic potential that exists between the chlorine dioxide molecule and a pathogen. When they encounter one another a change takes place and there is a reaction between them. In the process, the pathogen lets go of up to five up its electrons. This is a fatal blow to the pathogen and a win for the body. Once the electrons have been taken, the mms products molecule is used up as well. It is quite harmless even with its extra electrons. It then begins to break down itself, into a harmless salt byproduct. The pathogen has been done away with and all is well. It?s an amazing process that works consistently well.

How to Protect Skin-Part V

Filed under: centering, feng shui, meditation, personal development, spiritual — Admin @ 8:40 pm

How to Protect Skin-Part V

So who exactly are those in the threat of having skin cancer? People who have already experienced three or more bad cases of sunburn before reaching the age of twenty and regular sunbathers who always crave for an instant tan have greater risks of acquiring the dreaded skin disease known as melanoma. Cricketers, farmers, golf players and others, who have long exposure to the sun, have more tendencies to have milder forms of skin cancer.

So after learning how the body reacts to sunlight here is some information on how to prevent its harmful effect.

Ironically, studies on skin care show that Vitamin D, with the help of sunlight exposure, is what can help the body combat skin cancer.

So how does one go out in the open without the paranoia of cancer haunting him? Dermatologists suggest the use of sunscreens.

Researches showed that exposure to sunlight sans sunscreen should be less than 10 to 15 minutes at noon, while the sun is at its strongest. Using a sunscreen with an SPF or sun protection of 15 or higher is recommended. People with sensitive skin and the older adults should use an SPF of 30 or stronger because their skin tends to burn more easily. People with allergies or sensitive skin should also take note of the ingredients and choose those that are free of chemicals, dyes, preservatives, and alcohol. (Here’s where you can find more detailed information on skin care and skin lightening cream.)

If sun exposure will be particularly high, using a stronger sunscreen like zinc or titanium oxide is the better option, as it will completely stop sunlight from reaching the skin. Sunscreen application should be about half an hour before getting exposed into the sun and reapplication should be done every few hours. And when going swimming, one should know that 98 percent of the sun’s rays can pass through water, so without some kind of “water-resistant” sun screen and frequent applications, sunburn might be inevitable.

The skin is meant to protect and shield one from the threats of the environment so unless one properly cares for it, it won’t do its job that well.

The amazon kindle2 Reflects Light like Ordinary Paper and Uses No Backlighting

In addition, a copy of every book you purchase is kindle2 backed up online in Your Media Library in case you ever need to download it again. This allows you to make room for new titles on your device, knowing that Amazon is storing your personal library, which can always be re-downloaded wirelessly. If you are out of wireless coverage, such as traveling overseas, you can download books to your computer from Your Media Library and transfer via USB to your Kindle.

Think of it as a bookshelf in your atticeven though you don’t see it, you know your books are there.
We also liked how when you’re in a document, you can look up a word in the dictionary by selecting the line from the text using the scroll wheel ebook reader (the dictionary looks up all the words in the line, so you don’t have to go to the trouble of selecting the exact word). On a more critical note, we had some trouble using the “location” jumping feature, mostly because we couldn’t figure out what the location description numbers on the screen actually referred to. kindle subscriptions is the Revolutionary Electronic-paper Display

You can increase the font size of wireless ebook reader Word documents but you can’t zoom in on PDF files, which can makes them hard to read because they’re being reduced to fit on the screen. PDF’s take several seconds to load (as they often do on a computer). Also, one image-based PDF we tried (an architectural floor plan) wasn’t viewable at all.

In terms of audio, the Kindle plays back MP3 files, so you can listen to music while you read (there’s a headphone jack on the bottom of the device along with a tiny speaker on back of the device), as well as Audible books.

* No monthly wireless bills, service plans, or commitmentswe take care of the wireless delivery so you can simply click, buy, and read.
